Show time for my workshop

Happy to be here again!
I am glad to talk you today about my first TV experience! OMG, this is more than great: I loved it!
I have been recently approached by Cristina Lopez from RTV Marbella in order to participate in her show Nunca es tarde (click),  ("It's never too late" in Spanish).
The subject matter is appealing and interesting: they make people meet an instructor to teach them any activity (sports, cuisine, art...) on their spare time and develop interest in such experience.

My workshop - Part 4

Hi there,

After a few inactive months on the blog I am back to show you the workshop activity.

My workshop - part 3

My workshop is now open for two months

I cannot publish on the blog as much as I used to do before but you can always follow along on Facebook and Instagram to get fresh updates. I think I can publish monthly different chapters under the "My workshop - part..." title so you all get updated regarding what's going on!

In addition to chalk painting workshops and orders, I have been involved in small painting projects on furniture and items I need on a daily basis. When time allows I take care of the logistic side of the place: organizing, drilling in the wall for additional shelves, revamp the window display, etc.

Check out last news @ the workshop and enjoy the tour!

My workshop - Part 2

Most of my updates are posted in my Facebook profile and Instagram as I am currently not publishing here as I don't have too much time left. This is what happen when you do everything on your own! However satisfaction is the best award when you see that everything is just as you like as well as a good public acceptance.

My own workshop

www.annecharriere.com, l'atelier d'anne, painting workshop, benahavis,

After many months of reflection and appropriate steps it's eventually here: my own painting workshop, L'atelier d'AnneTime has come to turn my dream into reality and have my own painting workshop.

Nested within Andalusian hills, Benahavis is a small and pittoresque white village with lime washed walls which has a great gastronomy interest around the Coast. My workshop is on the main street where locals and tourists traffic is continuous.

My workshop

This is my lovely workshop! Somewhere on the outdoor porch, somewhere on the dining table, my workshop could be anywhere... My husband loves photography and takes great shots when I am in the middle of a project, especially with paint. To see progress on the workshop makeover, please scroll down to the end and check last pictures scrolling up!
I will be updating with more pictures. Enjoy...

Great new @ my workshop!
Last April many articles in the hardware store I buy from were promoted at great prices and I bought a mitre saw. I have been cutting dozen of reclaimed wood pieces and pallets planks to get some practice so I now have a huge amount of them and re-use them for any recycling wood project I have in mind.

This is what I used to cut with my compass saw... The cuts are now much more precise!

A while ago, I decided to customize all my painting pots and had my logo stuck on them so don't be surprised if you see the vintage car on every pot!

This family piece of furniture is actually my nº1 paint and tools storage; I don't know what could I do without it... I store every single piece of my hardware, wax and painting stuff in it. This is the BEFORE picture. As everything is on the outdoor terrace I decided to makeover the entire wall turning this space into a warm and cosy creative area.
