Today I bring you my recent makeover in terms of aging wood!
I have this recycled wood console with me for while. The shape is OK; the quality isn't high level though.
Standing by the entrance door it has been exposed to weather and therefore the last coat of paint was extremely peeling off on the top of it.
I have to say it has been a great experiment to deal with this project since I made a huge discovery with paint components and brands; nothing wrong or complaining but for sure a huge clue for future outdoor furniture painting projects.
There is no before pictures of the piece because I have painted it twice and just used it for myself but you can see I used a bamboo green color and white lime on the drawers to combine. I did love the effect when I had it done but overtime the pealing was too much and I had to fix it.
I wanted to work outside and didn't want flakes all over the place so I took it to the yard and started lifting the paint with a putty knife and medium grain sanding sponge.

I recently mentionned about my new Real Milk Paint & Co order in Instagram. The brand has arrived in Spain and brings the entire line.
For some reason I knew their oils would be great and I was looking forward to trying test them on my projects.
Checking out these pictures you can see when Tung oil is applied. The age effect is great.
