Here is the makeover of my dining table. This asian red wood had been varnished industrially, hence the shinny effect.
The idea was turning the "blink" aspect into a rustic vintage tone as well as enhancing the brightness in the room.
Several attemps were necessary to obtain the desired result. I have used a specific painting technique this time as I used a heat gun. Asphalt, varnish and paint did the rest.
