This was my original kitchen.
Everything was white: access door, wall tiles, cupboards, floor…
We made modifications a while ago as we wanted an open plan from the kitchen to the living area; washing and drying machines were moved to a built-in laundry place and we put wooden floor all over. One of the corner cupboards was modified (brown color on the right hand side).
Once open the kitchen plan we put rustic beige wall tiles and I painted all the cabinets in green. A few vintage signs and we loved it.
Sorry for the poor quality of the shots (taken with cell phone).
I loved this picture from Eva's blog: Oro y Menta.
Her post was about all you can do with the Annie Sloan chalk paint.
I just thought about a new kitchen makeover, went to buy the paint and decided to paint the cupboards with different tones.
I also changed some of the hangers.
Check out the change:
I left a space on the fridge for a reminder board:
Check out the color card if you like the tones:
- Greek Blue
- Louis Blue
- Old White
- Provence
- Duck Egg Blue
- Barcelona Orange
- a grey tome I already had from "Meubles de Provence" and a sand tone from "Libéron"
A protector varnish is recommended in order to prevent deep stains.
