Today I would like to share another milk paint project with Old Fashioned Milk Paint. As I said the other day milk paint is very popular in Northern America but not too much in Europe so every detail on this type of paint is instructive.
The color is red barn, one of my favorite colors as it reminds me Scandinavians and Northern American barns across the countryside, like this for instance:

The process is the same as for another milk paint: mix equal part of powder and warm water (easier to mix), wait a few minutes and start painting!
An empty frame was my support in this project. Since I have re-decored my guest bedroom most of my craft items are stocked in the same place so I decided to use one the 5 or 6 empty frames I have and create a new rescued project with artisan paint.

Neru Pretty Anne. I've never used milk paint before. I'll buy some when I get to the States. They have nothing here, I even have to make my own chalk paint. Anne, I am hosting a link party and would love to have you join us. It is called Sweet Inspiration and runs from Friday till Tuesday.
